Struggling to reach students who claim not to be “math people”? Chances are, they have math trauma they haven’t worked through yet. But here’s the thing—you can help them break through it. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to spot the signs of math anxiety and avoidance, and—more importantly—how to heal them.

This isn’t about making math easier—it’s about helping your students build a better relationship with math and themselves. We’ll dive into simple, actionable strategies that you can start using right away to create a classroom where EVERY student feels empowered, encouraged, and excited about learning math. You’ll leave this session with practical, no-nonsense tools to turn those “I can’t do math” students into “I can do this” students!

Vanessa will share her 5 Steps in completing “MathTherapy”!

  • Step1: Mythbust
  • Step2: Moderate
