Institute Description: There are hundreds of technology products looking to support your student's math learning. But what are your values and beliefs about math, and how well do those products align? In this session, we will learn together why students dislike math. Together, we will experience a math classroom that is connected and creative, and we will learn how to choose free technology that develops those classrooms, making technology a tool that teachers use rather than the reverse.
Examples used in this workshop will be focused on grade levels 6-12. All concepts can be applied to all grade levels.
