New Teacher Orientation
Webinar Description:
When you begin your teaching career, you will find yourself with many questions about how to approach things that are new to you. If you have a few years of experience, you begin to look at the “why” of what you do to determine if there is a strategy that is a better fit for your classroom. During this 6-session course, we will review topics that are important to all new teachers. You will have opportunities to discuss how to implement the ideas and strategies in your classroom to make learning work for you and your students.

Dr. Judy Kmak has implemented new teacher orientation programs in multiple school districts and has coached hundreds of teachers as an administrator. Throughout her career, as a teacher and principal, she has focused on student engagement, professional collaboration, and community partnerships. Judy currently assists mentors and new teachers as they work together to build their teaching skills. She understands the importance of building relationships within a school environment and includes this critical component throughout her workshops.
