California ASCD presents:

                                     A Webinar with

Presenter Zaretta Hammond, M. A.

Leveling Up Learning:  School Transformation to Increase Instructional Rigor

March 8, 2022 - Session 1

April 5, 2022 - Session 2

May 10, 2022 - Session 3

TNTP's Opportunity Myth report(2018), states that serious barrier to improving student outcomes was the lack of grade level materials students could access.  In addition to this barrier, there is a significant number of students who are not ready to take on more rigorous content.

In this series, we will look at what it takes to translate one's vision for more rigorous instruction into reality.  What does this require from you as a leader so new practices take root?

We will work through the pedagogical and social shifts necessary for a school to become one that has a blueprint for helping every student find academic success regardless of zip code, racial, or linguistic background.
