In this interactive presentation, Dr. Douglas Reeves will consider lessons learned and opportunities created by the school closures associated with the pandemic. The core competencies for equity and excellence include: focus, especially in curriculum and technology; feedback, with particular attention to accuracy and fairness; instruction, with a focus on engagement; leadership, with an emphasis on instruction and feedback; and efficacy.

Participants will learn practical applications of each of these core competencies.

Dr. Douglas Reeves is the author of more than 40 books and 100 articles on education and leadership.  Twice named to the Harvard University Distinguished Authors Series, Doug received the Contribution to the Field Award from the National Staff Development Council (now Learning Forward) and was named the Brock International Laureate for his contributions to education.  Doug has shared his research in all fifty states and more than 40 countries.
