 Description:

For many students and teachers, online and blended learning has often been a joyless, disengaging, frustrating, and fruitless experience. It doesn’t have to be that way, though. When designed with the science of learning in mind, online and blended learning can spark curiosity and fire up their love of learning even more than in-person instruction—making learning easier and more joyful for everyone. Join us for an engaging session featuring important insights and practical strategies from the new ASCD book Learning that Sticks that you can use right away to create learning experiences that challenge and engage your students—no matter where learning takes place.

PRESENTER:

Bryan Goodwin has authored or co-authored several books, including Simply Better:  Doing What Matters Most to Change the Odds for Student Success, The 12 Touchstones of Good Teaching: A Checklist for Staying Focused Every Day, Balanced Leadership for Powerful Learning: Tools for Achieving Success in Your School and The Future of Schooling:  Educating America in 2020.
